What is vPDF?

vPDF is a new technology and process to achieve super compressed yet perfect PDF files which contain perceptually lossless, incredible image and text quality but are around 10 times smaller in file size than a normal PDF file.

vPDF images are normal PDF files which can be read by the Free Adobe Reader, but the vPDF images were created with the vPDF process and the resulting PDF files average around 10 times smaller than any other PDF creating product such as Adobe Acrobat, PDF Factory, PDF995 etc. can achieve. Also.....all text content is searchable.

All vPDF created PDFs are Fast Web View enabled meaning that no matter how many pages are in the PDF it will always open up instantly......no more waiting for downoading of the whole file before seeing it!

The vPDF created color images above are examples of PDFs that you can now achieve for the same file size as a black & white scanned image created by Adobe Acrobat.

Usage:

The vPDF process can be built in to any existing image scanning workflow to create tiny PDFs of color scanned images with OCR'd text via the command line driven tools or by using the the GUI vPDF Server product.

Or vPDF can just be used as a Desktop Application or Virtual Printer to encode and convert any file into a super compressed image perfect tiny file sized PDF.
